Christmas Red Velvet Sugar Cookies

Christmas Red Velvet Sugar Cookies

These Christmas red velvet sugar cookies are soft, beautifully deep red, and have that unmistakable cocoa-kissed flavor that makes red velvet so special. Made with butter, egg, and a touch of red food coloring, they bake up soft and chewy with slightly crisp edges. Great for decorating with icing or eating plain straight from the cookie jar. Also try my Gingerbread Cookies, Chocolate Crinkle Cookies, or Espresso Chocolate Chip Cookies.
