Baked Yellow Split Peas Fritters
These baked yellow split peas fritters are crispy on the outside, soft and flavorful inside, and made without any frying. Packed with split peas, cumin, fresh chili, curry leaves, and spring onion, they have a wonderful depth of spiced flavor. They are high in plant protein and genuinely satisfying as a snack or appetizer. Healthier than a fried version with all the crunch you want. Baked Yellow Split Peas Fritters
Ingredients
- 1 ½ cup (340 g) Yellow Split Peas
- 2 tbsp (12 g) Besan / Gram Flour (Chana Dal)
- 1 tsp (5 g) Baking Powder
- 1/2 tsp (6 g) ground cumin
- 1 tsp (6 g) salt
- Curry Leaves (10-15) minced
- 1 Green Chili minced
- 1 Red Chili minced
- 4 Green Onion sliced
- 1 medium onion chopped
